The rise of nationalism is something that you've seen sort of ebb and flow. And I can't help but wonder how much of that is a reflection of secularism, right? We do have something like sacralization of the secular narrative,. It becomes imbued with sacredness with the help of religious traditions. But there's kind of inverse process of secularization of the Christian faith. That means that faith is being turned into to achieve ends that are not defined by the faith itself.
