Using Machine Learning to Optimize All Kinds of Reactions
Small molecules do basically everything so the most recognizable small molecules are maybe like water or ethanol but they're all kinds of like biomarkers metabolites. Everything you could taste or smell is usually attributed to a small molecule giving it that unique taster smell. The reaction we focused on in this paper is is one of the best ways known to make carbon carbon bonds which are really critical for most small molecules. It's the reaction which won the Nobel Prize within the past few decades the Suzuki Miora coupling.
