The Different Types of Dissociative Identity Disorders
Dissociative identity is more common amongst close biological relatives, a person who also have disorder than in the general population. The average time that elapses from first symptom to diagnosis is six to seven years. Some believe because dissociative identity are highly suggestible their symptoms are at least partly within themselves prompted by a therapist or prompted by friends that are probing our parents.
