John dropped into a ravine and was trapped. He knew it would be at least a week or more before anybody figured out that he was even missing. The next morning, when the sun finally came up again, john was totally disheartened. So he decided to start jotting notes down on the margins of map - which was the only place he had space to write. On may sixth, brandon day and his girl friend, jean allen, were in palm springs for a business convention. They stumbled on this camp site.
