The Immaculate Conception
Father Joseph Anthony: The Immaculate Conception is important because all of the privileges, all of the graces, every extraordinary honor that's given to the Virgin Mary by God is given in view of the Lord. He says people confuse this feast with an understanding of Christ's own life. "We are making a bold claim here that this woman, the Blessed Virgin Mary was conceived without sin," he says.
