Spinal X Rays Are a Big Dose of Radiation, Aren't They?
Spinal x rays are a huge dose of radiation, aren't they? So i don't request them. Prouc spar em. I know the nice guide lines do suggest an x ray of the sacroaleac joints, but i would leave that to the specialist, rheumatologist to request if they feel it would help. In our area in telford, the only time you'll get a spinal xray is if youere suspecting a stress fracture or a vertebral fracture and some malig y. Perhaps the request will be rejected otherwise, so it's not worth trying.
