The Impact of COVID on GXO's Supply Chain
For GXO, it was clearly around the shift from retailing, wholesaling to online. We'd already seen double-digit organic growth within e-commerce but what we saw overnight was almost a stop in some supply chains. Internally, we, like others, were very much affected by labor disruption. So demand signaling was no longer working just because demand was so different. And I think those challenges really played a part of really the disruption that we saw with them (grocers and convenience stores)
