Politics Isn't on Everybody's Mind All the Time

i went to a pretty liberal school. We've kind of weirdly similar upbringings. I was born in the u k, and it up in the middle east. But i don't remember politics being on everybody's mind all the time. And now, what i hear from kids in high school even, is that these friends groups are based on politics,. It's nuts. People treating politics as a rligiones family or religion? You know, you can't be an american cause you can't have friends with that person cause they vote differentlyor they have different beliefs than you do. There's healthy ways to do it, and there's pretty unhealthy ways to do
