The European CPI Is Running at an Annualized Inflation Rate of Over 3%
Over 80% of the European CPI basket is running at annualized inflation rate of over 3%. I'm not particularly surprised to be honest because Europe he is at a stage of a macro cycle which is still a bit earlier than where the US says. Inflation swaps in Europe are pricing inflation to drop from 7% today 20th of April 7% year on year headline inflation to 3% by October that is really quick as a drop so it is also partially priced in.
