The Strength of Feeling in GP Support for Industrial Action
76% of GPs and practice managers would consider taking part in some form of industrial action. 61% of the total were ready to provide an emergency only service for one or more days. 43% said they would be prepared to close their practice completely for a day or more. Nearly nine in ten respondents saying that they'd be prepared to drop unfunded work. More than 70% would be ready to adopt some elements of a BMA safe work and advice. And as Emma said earlier, that could include capping appointments.
