The Effects of Dimethyl Sulfoxide on Fermentation
There's a lot of things that are going on during fermentation. DMS Oh, dimethyl sulfoxide is actually a yeast thing. If it sticks around all the way through the end of packaging, then yeah, that may be DMS. It also could be a spoilage organism, something like that. So for troubleshooting, I'd say first of all, try a different yeast and see if that does something different. Then try a different malt next time. Next question comes from Dave Lackley. He says he wants to minimize cold side oxidation exposure.
