I've noticed in the last few years is that consensus is actually often used as a shield and a way of abdicating the responsibility of doing the hard thinking. In every curriculum review we've had at federal and state level we have not looked at what curriculum is taught in schools like I really encourage you just to think about that for a few minutes Ben. How on earth can we have a proper review of the curriculum without understanding what curriculum is teaching in classrooms? There are well over a hundred million dollars being allocated if you sort of pull the resources being spent in each state which we never do but it's going to take a whole lot of investment around producing quality resources available to schools
