I think it can kind of prompt people to feel very anxious about the future or just to feel depressed about their performance. I don't tend to run these experiments that much in my own life because I'm really worried about getting false positives. And so with other interventions where it's not clear whether you should do them, where potentially looking for like relatively small effects that are going to be washed out or masked in the noise of ordinary life.
