The Importance of Regulating the Economy

How much better off would we be were it less regulated? I don't think there's much of an answer to that. We tend to see far more examples of governments going too far than we do of governments not going far enough. What I'm really asking for here is if we're contending, and I think we are, that we over regulate to some degree... How much better off will the U.S. economy be without regulation? Are we talking about a 10% problem or 90% problem? I honestly have no idea.
