The Importance of Predictability
We celebrate predictability, because it's easiest for artificial intelligence or even just natural intelligence to predict what's going to happen next. So in an era where that's important, you could see how having norms or normal people or groups of people who act the same is more beneficial to capitalism. Having a lot of individuals who are unique and who are a bit more unpredictable would be better.
