How to Invest for the Next Five Years

Bob Greene: I could take that 50K, and I could most likely buy two to three houses with that 50K. And so if I have to invest for five years, that's where I'm going to put the money. He says even through recessions, what they call good and cheap stocks do well. Greene: You're going to find really durable, defensible companies out there that will actually perform well.
