The Importance of Asking Questions

I see some teachers asking questions where the students know the answer before they've even asked it or finished asking it. And so there isn't that degree of challenge there, but equally, I see some teachers ask questions and just completely lose them. Or they ask questions where they expected a response, but the student didn't give them the response they expected, so then it just froze them. So I think yeah, I think for many reasons planning questions is important and we're definitely advocate for it, even I will still do it now. Even 15 years into teaching, I think it's important. Maybe I don't always write them down, but I'll think about it when I'm thinking
