Is the Qualified Immunity Doctrine Going Wrong?

I think there has been a little bit of wishful thinking. Some justices, just as little mayorand justas thomas, have said that the qualified immunity doctrine has gone wrong. The court did have a case last term where it summarily reversed the no, the grant of qualified immunity in a texas prison case. And some people tried to read into that, you know, the court is sending and that, you now, it's trying to walk about qualified immunity. We idon't.
