His parents homeschooled him and his siblings, but he was never told they were part of the "Joshua Generation" The term refers to children who are raised with very militaristic views on life that could be seen as anti-gay or pro-Christian.
A group of evangelical Christians raised their children to become influential in the White House, on Capitol Hill, and in the Supreme Court. Now, as adults, the "Joshua generation" are reckoning with their upbringing.
