The Importance of Stillness
In the moment of stillness, the narrative subsides. And there's not what is left of you when the narrative that tells you who you are subsides even for a moment like now. You cannot name it because it's beyond concepts. However, it's a spiritual teacher's job to point to it even with concepts. But they're just context like little signposts. The realization that you are, but not what you are, that you are. In other words, a sense of presence, one could say. One could compare it to space. So in the external world we have this strange thing called space, which is not a thing. Nobody knows really what to do with it
