How Does Conjugated Bilirubin Work in Jilbares?
Patients with jilbares have this UGT1A1 that doesn't function fully. Phenobarbital is a medication that actually up-regulates the function of UGT 1A1. It's theoretically something that can be done, but not for this intended purpose. Have I given phenobarbital to people who may have jil bares and or alcohol related hepatitis? Maybe.
