In 2013, Fristen Wood wrote an article called Life as We Know It. He reduced homeostasis to mechanistic causal laws just like anything else in nature. And so he made a set of equations showing how this is our Omustasis works. That's why it's a model of intentionality actually. Why we, why we do what we do. So that was, you can imagine my excitement because I had reached the conclusion that consciousness is at bottom raw feeling and that feeling is at bottom, an extended form of homeostasis.
