#4 - Jordan Hall: Building a better civilization
Win-Win with Liv Boeree
The Deterministic Theory of Creation
If creation is an aspect of universe, then it would not go away. This happens to map to the general naive experience of reality that we see creation happening constantly all over the place. It's like good is that which enables more emergent complexity to come along and bad is that which permanently co-tales it. The introduction of computers actually gives us a capacity to produce a much larger amount of activity in the world. And that more power is going to be throwing substantially more externalities in our environment than we have the capacity to perceive. We're always going to be creating more power and more complicatedness than you're creating control and perception.
