What Is the Point of Sport Um?

The author argues that the best ethical theory is to look at sport in its historical context. He says there are two different views of what sport should be about, both historically situated. The conventionalist view asks "what is the point of this game?" But it also takes into account social conventions such as how you treat non-competitors and whether or not you break rules.
