The Importance of Data Structure in Certificate Transparency
Seamless first addressed this problem. And basically they found this clever solution, which basically said, why don't we make this data structure so that you can only add things to it? So in certificate transparency, essentially have to scan the entire tree to know what changes were made to your key. Since nothing is ever deleted, I can make sure that anything that was added for me or on my behalf will always remain in the log.
