I find conspiracy theories fascinating, but I think what they actually represent is a desire to impose order on the universe. That's what intrigues me about it. It's secretly rather pleasing to think there is a dark government up there in charge of anything, because they're fucking isn't. The world is a howling abyss of chaos.
