Maitian's Theology of Modernism
Maitian would popularize a phrase called doctrinal indifferentism, and he believed that Speer was insufficiently attentive to doctrinal differences in the church. Maitian: The issue is between Christianity as set forth in the Bible and in the great creeds of the church, and a non-docturnal or indifferent modernism.
