The Strike of Julius Caesar
In the early 1900s, Julius striker was a teacher in Nuremberg. The city had been majority Protestant up until the turn of the century and then a bunch of Catholics had moved in along with 8,000 or so Jewish Germans. Striker joined the democratic party's primary goal to end clerical supervision in the schools. In this period, you got to remember people don't have radios really; there's certainly no television.
