What Is the Interest of Questions About Grounding in Metaphysics?

i started out being interested in philosophy o mind. Then i realized that some of the questions i was interested in were really more general questions metaphysics. And then i had to, you know, sort out some metaphysics to answer them. So i personally got into metaphysics through philosophy of mine,. But i absolutely think that these metaphysical questions are of broader concern. I would say that when i was working on my book, i had the most luck explaining what i was worked on to random people on airplanes that i've had throughout my career.
