Andaquinus: You can only say that god is the numinous author of realities that are good and that he is in no way evil in himself. We wedinde by expurgating the bible, god is love? No, god is not hatred. That's all we're saying. So therefore we must hold a different doctrine, that these names signify the divine substance and are predicated substantially of god. If i say god is sovereignly good, or god is infinitely wise, i speak of what god is in god's very self.
