The Aztecs were better taken care of by the Spanish than most of the other indigenous societies that the Spanish came into contact with. This is why there are still people speaking Taiano in Mexico today and we literally don't even know what Taiano sounds like. The Spaniards incorporated the Aztec Empire into at the very least on like the elite level incorporated the Aztecs like into literally the Spanish royal family but it wasn't actually a racism thinglike that was just such a new phenomenon to develop. There was sort of a respect there well I think that we're gonna call it for today we had a lot of fun stuff coming up this week and we'll catch you guys back next
