A decade or two ago, a number of researchers basically said, well, we know exercise is really beneficial. It's associated with longer life spans and prevents all kinds of different diseases. But the problem with it is that it produces all these damaging free radicals. So what if we take supplemental vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin A, before or after exercise to minimize that? And they found in those studies was that it negated, it canceled out most of the benefits of the exercise. Ooh man, do you put red light on your balls? Corollary: I am a naked sunning fan but I'm definitely not a naysayer.
