The Flood Narrative

Gordon Wynnum has actually made an argument back in the 80s or 90s. And when I found it, I was like, ah, this makes so much sense because I work on Genesis 1 through 11. The sentence at the center of that chiasm is, and God remembered his covenant with Noah. So, and I won't argue to the death that that's exactly what's going on there. But if that is correct, then whatever else we want to say about the flood narrative must play some primacy on that statement.
