Tom Scott - I'm a Huge Fan of Tom Scott's Work

I think that Tom Scott is like 1960s era BBC documentary style show host trapped in a YouTuber's body. He sees the world around him through sort of this old lens, which I think is his charm. If he had been born earlier in the last century and was his current age in say the 60s or 70s, if his goal was to make the kinds of things that he makes today it would be much harder. And even then he couldn't pick his own topics half the time.
