The High Level Abstract Reasoning Depends on Low Level Processing
High level abstract reasoning depends for its successful functioning on low level processing that is not itself abstract reasoning. You have to be able to perceive directly a computer in order to think in the high level abstract way. It's actually very difficult to accomplish the perceptual problem of seeing a cup as a cup, because you have to constrain the scope of an infinite number of categories that they share.
