The Role of Experts in Global Development
There's been considerable pushback in recent years from many who point to the importance or the fact that we should be giving more importance to local knowledge. That we should not just be listening to experts flying in and telling us what to do. In norway, the government spends about 50 % of national income each year. And if you look around your neighborhood in sweden, in denmark, in finland, in iceland, o it's the same. But i'd like to hear your thoughts on this debate on aid effectiveness and the role of experts in global development.
