The way that i've been describing the sermon on the mountain is a count of catchal. I borrowed a bit from scott mc knight, which we've referred to a few times over our series. It's where ethics and idolatry are the same thing. Your who you worshipor how you what you allow to speak into your life is affecting your actions. But it also plays out in real life. At any time christians want to m disobey or or divert themselves from the way of jesus - this is idolatry.
