Did the Nazis Destroy Works of Art?
In the 19 thirties, certain works of art in germany were confiscated and burned because they didn't conform to Hitler's ideals. There was even a plan to blow up mines at altose that held thousands of treasures from across europe during world war two. So throughout history, works of art have served political purposes, whether they were intended as such to begin with, or not. And certainly world warto is no exception to that.
