The Recurrence of Earthquakes in Northern California
Recurrence suggests that earthquakes with a magnitude between 6.5 and 7 similar to the 1989 Loma Prieta, which you mentioned a couple times. We'll occur approximately one time every 100 years. The way the recurrence kind of parallels wind a little bit, you know, that we look at these things in a recurrence interval sense.
