Using Podcasts for Vocabulary Building
You can use podcasts just like any source of input to help you learn new individual words or phrases. But id think about using podcasts differently in terms of vocabulary building. That's helping you reinforce words and phrases that you might already know, that might already be in your passive vocabulary. Listen out very carefully for these sorts of words and phrases, notice them and think critically about how they were used. All episodes of english learning for curious minds come with a transcript and qui vocabulary as well as sub titles. Other pod casts provide transcripts, but most don't. And to my knowledge, there are no other english pod casts that provide sub titles, transcripts and theatti vocabulary in the same way as this
