The Appensellaban Train Ride to Vassar
This is something that I did last year for the first time and I'd seen photos of this mountain restaurant built into the cliff side. Our innkeeper in Appensell where we were staying described as their Eiffel Tower you know there's a sort of iconic tourist site so I wanted to see it. A guy who turned out to be a local guy turned up with an alporn and he started playing this alporn which was really yodeling like traditional yodeling songs. It's just almost unbelievable really lovely place anyway what we did then sort of gets better really because you can walk down from there or hike downIt's again that's a really really tough hike down
