The problem is Americans don't want to give up their cars. That's it. Is this possibly a problem where there is simply not a solution unless Americans are willing to make significant changes to their lifestyles? I think that the most notable one is Uber co-founded by Travis Cowenick and this was really a promise that by hailing a taxi or taxi-like vehicle from your phone that it was going to have these really revolutionary implications for the transport system. So everybody knows at this point that buses and trains and subways are better for the planet. They're faster ways to get around. They're imperfect for sure.
