Shelley: I think, with watching this story, i always felt that anna is the real hero of it. Like elsa's, you know, embracing her identity and rising to the power and wearing the cool dresses. And anna is more traditionally dressed and blends in more, but herun lenting optimism and connection in positivity really is what drives the story. She meets the sky, she feels seen by him within minutes because he's being deceptive, and immediately is in love with him. That slides beautifully into our next topic, which is anxiety. It does make a difference between different attachment styles.
In this year’s holiday episode, we are heading up to Arendelle to discuss Frozen 1 & 2! We are joined by Dr. Shelly Clevenger to breakdown the themes of empowerment and self-acceptance. We also examine the parenting choices of Anna and Elsa’s parents and it’s impact on their identity as adults. Happy Holidays!!
