The Aztika Foundation aims to improve the quality of maternity care in India. It was set up by a group of researchers who were inspired by high infant and maternal mortality rates, which are coming down but still very high. The foundation's vision is that every woman in India should have access to high quality and timely maternity care. And at the same time has access to respectful maternity care that disrespect and abuse should be stamped out.
