Why Are We Still Losing Nuclear Plants in Europe?

Nuclear is an obsession in the engineering industries because nobody wants to see a worker get hurt. It's bad for morale, slows down everything and brings a lot of negative media attention. Construction is nearly as safe in developing countries getting Russian and Chinese reactors as it is over here. So I don't see these five and six year constructions as being due to inferior technology. And some of the practice is because the states have been interested in nuclear.
