The Role of the Colosseum in the History of Olmec
San Lorenzo Wayne's and La Venta becomes the primary site really comes on the scene as a major center of power. And interestingly all three of these sites are varied in their overall layouts in the kinds of building configurations. So what Olmec architecture looked like is still somewhat of a mystery. We have vestiges remnants, we have floors occasionally something that looks like a step. But we get a sense of incredible built environments that have worn away to nearly nothing unfortunately.
