Many evangelical conservatives would not believe that they were replacing christianity with conservatism. This episode serves as a clarion call to abandon the idea that the positions that we hold are issues that will get us loved or even liked by the culture. On the contrary, our positions will do more than get us removed from our favorite social media platform in the days to come. In the days ahead, we will have our personal lives disrupted, and some may even suffer imprisonment. For those who think this is hyperbole, it isn't.
