Moses is asked to pick up a snake by the neck, right behind the head. When he takes the snake, it turns back into the stick it was to begin with. The lord then says, put thine hand into thy bosom again. There's no way. I got to keep this as far away from me as possible. That's why lepros ind rael were kept outside the camp. We'll see this more with meri, and we'll see it more in the book of leviticus. And moses put forth his hand, probably trembling, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand. All is well.
