The author of a new book about political favoritism in Australia talks to John Defterios. Game of Mates, How Favers Bleed the Nation is published by Simon & Schuster and comes out in 2022. It's based on his research into land rezoning decisions across Queensland where he found that it was all down to social networks rather than size or location.
