Jimmy Savile Becomes a DJ at Radio Luxembourg
Jimmy Savile became a DJ at Radio Luxembourg in the 1950s, post World War II. The first song that was hit on his very first show was the Everly Brother song, Kathy's Clown. He would pump the Rolling Stones specifically pretty hard. His show, Jim will fix it, ran for 20 seasons from 1975 to 1994 on the BBC.
